The Coyote and The Choice to Live or Die

In the doing of this Coyote Medicine Walk many people have come to me "Wanting"! Wanting to find their destiny, themselves, to be healed, answers to their questions, prayers, for me to some how to make it right for them or to show them the "way". They are literally and figuratively sick and tired of the journey of always searching but not finding. But you see all I can do is what I do, trick you into another way of seeing and I do it well. When you are tricked into seeing that what you think you seek, is only to see yourself from a different direction is powerful thing and moves you through the "gateway of a change of perception". This is a step into the acceptance of how things are in this moment. But you see this is only a single step into a world of power and understanding and is only the beginning. There still is work, taxes and dirty dishes.

The way of the search is "it is always just around the corner-ness". You walk away from a Coyote session with a different view and have an acceptance of part of your inside-ness. This is truly a jarring thing but again this is not the way........But another trick! The Trick is always a magic bullet and its only purpose is just to focus your attention and to pull you into the fullness of this moment. This "trick" is a necessary thing but you see the real trick is the Choice!

The Choice to Live or Die!

To choose to die can be a bullet in the brain or the fearful, angry and very slow-walk into the addiction of the endless search for self, knowledge, and accumulation of! To choose life is to choose to live in this moment and to accept that you are who you were born as...nothing more or less! Life is and has always been joy, sorrow, love, hate, beauty, ugliness and all things in-between. We can spend a lifetime of non-acceptance trying to change ourselves or how things are or we can accept our selves as we are, which does bring change for us and this world.

These words make it sound easy but the acceptance of "This Is It" is all of the above and is a journey called life! The hard part is to choose to accept the full responsibility of your choice to live or die!
